- Service Days: Monday – Friday
- Compost Pickup Period: March 18 through December 20. Residents can use yard waste paper bags or personal 20-32 gallon containers marked with a yard waste sticker. Free stickers are at all Dearborn libraries, the Public Works Yard, and the Dearborn Admin. Center.
- Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Picked up on the same day as trash – households are limited to 5 bulk items per week; a maximum of 20 per year. Carpet and padding are limited to 10 rolls per week; a maximum of 30 rolls per year. Excessive pick-ups are available for a minimum charge of $100.00.
- HHW, Shred, E-Waste Events: The Wayne County Dept of Environment hosts household waste drop-off days every year, free for county residents.
