Priority Waste is proud to partner with Inkster to provide top-quality waste and disposal services. We are committed to caring for the environment and the people of Inkster, actively supporting local community education and sustainability initiatives.

  • Service Days: Monday – Friday
  • Compost Pickup Period: Weekly pick up beginning April 1 until December 15. Residents must place materials in Kraft paper bags or 35-gallon cans (maximum size) clearly marked yard waste. Christmas trees will be collected for three weeks following the holidays.
  • Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Weekly pick up – no limit.
  • Other Notes: Side door service is available to those who send proof of their disability to the Contractor and also copy the City.

If your service day is on or after the holiday, that week, your service day will be delayed one day.

What are acceptable recyclable materials?
Paper: Newspaper, junk mail, flattened cardboard and box board, magazines, mixed paper.
Metal: Empty cans and aerosol cans, aluminum, tin.
Plastic: Bottles, jugs, storage containers, tubs.
Glass: Clear and colored glass.
What materials are not accepted for recycling?
Materials not accepted include: Plastic Bags or Film, Plastic Cups, Styrofoam, Food Waste, Storage Bags, Soiled Pizza Boxes, Pyrex or Ceramic, Bubble Wrap Packing Materials, Plastic Silverware, Metal or Plastic Hangers
