Located in Macomb County along the Clinton River, Utica is approximately 25 miles north of downtown Detroit and home to about 5,000 residents. Utica is about 1.75 square miles and is known for its historic charm, friendly community atmosphere and scenic surroundings. Service Days
- Compost Pickup Period: April 1 through the second week of December. No limit; bags and cans must be 40 gallons or smaller and less than 50 lbs.
- Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: 1-3 bulk items – no special pick up needed.
- Other Notes: Does not get any free cans. Any commercial businesses wanting carts must call the City.
