Trash & Recycling Pickup
Priority Waste is proud to partner with the City of Taylor to provide top-notch trash and recycling collection services to residents. Known for its extensive parks, diverse community and convenient location, the City of Taylor is a dynamic place to live, work and visit. Established in 1847 and incorporated in 1968, Taylor is named after the 12th President of the United State, Zachary Taylor. The city covered about 24 square miles and is home to approximately 61,000 residents. Our dedicated team of professionals is committed to serving the trash and recycling pickup needs of Taylor residents.
Service Days
- Compost Pickup Period: March 1 through December 15. Any can up to 35 gal, must be labeled, or compost bags, or bundles. Up to 8 total per week accepted.
- Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Bulk – Within reason. Prefer 3 items or 8 bags. No special pick up is needed.
Collection Information
- Waste, Compost, and Recycling are picked up on the same day.
- Compost Collection is from March 1 through December 15.
- If your service falls on or after a Holiday, services will move to the following business day. Holidays that affect the schedule are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If a Holiday falls on a weekend, services will not be affected.
