Priority Waste is proud to partner with Orion Township to provide top-quality waste and disposal services. We are committed to caring for the environment and the people of Orion Township, actively supporting local community education and sustainability initiatives.

  • Service Days: Monday – Friday
  • Compost Pickup Period: Residents must place materials in Kraft paper bags or properly labeled containers. Christmas trees will be picked up for the three weeks following Christmas. This compost service ends on December 13th.
  • Bulk Pick Up/Special Pick Up: Weekly pick up – no limit.
  • HHW, Shred, E-Waste Events: Annual household hazardous waste collection as set by the Township. The Township may request up to (2) shredding events per year.

Paper: Newspaper, junk mail, flattened cardboard and box board, magazines, mixed paper.
Metal: Empty cans and aerosol cans, aluminum, tin.
Plastic: Bottles, jugs, storage containers, tubs.
Glass: Clear and colored glass.
What materials are not accepted for recycling?
Materials not accepted include: Plastic Bags or Film, Plastic Cups, Styrofoam, Food Waste, Storage Bags, Soiled Pizza Boxes, Pyrex or Ceramic, Bubble Wrap Packing Materials, Plastic Silverware, Metal or Plastic Hangers
